Karen Horan, MS, RD, CDE
Karen Horan has a Bachelor and Masters degree in Clinical Nutrition. She is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist through the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Karen has over 17 years of experience as a Dietitian specializing in weight loss, diabetes prevention and management, and integrative medicine. She is an advanced level Certified Diabetes Educator and has a Certificate in Adult Weight Management. Her nutrition philosophy is one that looks at the whole person. Not only on dietary intakes and supplements; but lifestyle, prevention, and the use of natural therapies. “It is not about the quick fix, it’s about everlasting health” The goal is not to “find the way”, it is to” find your way” . As your dietitian, Karen will utilize all of her tools and techniques to help motivate and encourage you to embrace positive lifestyle changes to optimize your health and wellness. She has extensive experience counseling and educating pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. Karen enjoys developing nutrition programs, presenting professional and community lectures, conducting supermarket tours, and writing nutrition blogs.
Irina Lenkovskiy, MS, RD, CDN
Irina Lenkovskiy has a Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Food Science. She is a Registered Dietitian through the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Irina has been providing nutritional services and counseling for 11 years. She specializes in meal planning, weight loss, diabetes management, geriatric nutrition and HIV Nutrition. She counsels diabetic and CHF program patients to improve their health which keeps them out of the hospital and prevents further complications of diseases. Irina provides lectures and workshops for healthcare professionals in different medical facilities. She develops menus and demonstrates cooking classes for Adult Day Care Centers having a deep interest in senior longevity.
Alex D’Elia, RD
Alex D’Elia has a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Nutrition Sciences from Brooklyn College. She is a Registered Dietitian through the Commission on Dietetic Registration, and has been practicing for three years. Specializing in weight loss and individual counseling, Alex is very driven to tailor food plans that work with the individuals’ lifestyle and personal health challenges. Having worked in various settings, Alex has a broad range of experience in the dietary management of diabetes, chronic kidney disease, obesity, heart disease, general nutrition and overall wellness. Her passion lies in empowering those who seek to make lifestyle changes on the road to health and wellness.
Marsha Girgis, MS, RD
Marsha Girgis is a New Jersey and New York Registered Dietitian (RD) specializing in weight loss and medical nutrition therapy. Marsha obtained her Masters of Science degree in Nutrition & Food Science, as well as a Bachelors in Health Science & Psychology. As an RD, she assesses the nutritional status and nutritional needs in each of her clients. She works with each client as a team to develop realistic, attainable, and lasting goals.
