Who doesn’t love the creamy dreamy flavor of coconut? This is a great summer smoothie to try post work-out or when your body needs a protein boost.
Coconut Almond Smoothie
1 scoop of Vanilla Protein Powder (I use Arbonne Pea Protein powder but any brand will work fine)
1 cup of unsweetened vanilla soy or coconut milk
½ frozen banana
2 Tbs sliced almonds
1 Tbs unsweetened shredded coconut
½ tsp cinnamon
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Garnish with additional almonds and coconut and a cinnamon stick.
